  1. Shutdown -- shutdown the computer

  3. Syntax      Shutdown
  4.  
  5. Description Shutdown ejects any disks present in AppleDisk 3.5" drives and then
  6.             performs an OSShutdown call to prepare the machine to be turned off
  7.             by the user.  GS/OS will present the user with a dialog box
  8.             informing her that the machine may be powered down safely.  The
  9.             dialog box also contains a button giving the user the option of
  10.             restarting the system.
